NOTICE OF IRRIGATION RATE INCREASE AND PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 16, 2026, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Sun Prairie County Water District, Montana (the “District”), adopted a Resolution of Intention of the Sun Prairie County Water District, Montana to Adjust Rates for the Users of the Irrigation System; and Calling a Public Hearing Thereon.

The District has determined it will be necessary to collect sufficient revenues to provide for the needs of the irrigation system (the “System”), including to pay the costs of operation and maintenance, and to establish appropriate reserves for system upgrades.

The District currently charges each lot connected to the System a monthly flat rate of $9.01 per acre (the “Monthly Charge”).

Effective as of May 2026, the Board proposes to increase the Monthly Charge to $16.87 per acre per month.

The proposed Monthly Charge represents an increase of approximately 87.24% over the current Monthly Charge.

On Monday, April 20, 2026, commencing at 6:00 p.m. in the American Legion Hall located at 370 Post Avenue in Vaughn, Montana, the Board will conduct a public hearing with respect to the proposed irrigation rate increase.
