IRRIGATION RATE INCREASE

The Board held a Public Hearing on April 20th, 2026, to discuss a rate increase for the irrigation system. The Board presented 3 options: 1) Leave as posted, increase from $9.01 per acre to $16.87 per acre; 2) Instead of fee per acre, all lots pay flat rate of $42.00 per month; 3) All users billed one-time fee of $500.00 and keep rate per acre at $9.01. After much discussion and consideration from public comments, the Board took a vote. Douglas Alm introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 07-2026. BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of the District as follows: The District currently charges each lot connected to the Irrigation System a per acre rate of $9.01. New rate effective as of May 1, 2026, monthly charge for users of the System will be $16.87 per acre. Whereupon the motion or adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Lori Zeiser; with Ilona Olson providing the 3rd vote to rule 3-1.
